ZoogVPN has quietly offered one of the better free tiers for years: 10 GB a month across five locations, no advertising, with the same apps as paying users. For light use that is competitive with hide.me and Windscribe.
The paid plan is priced at the bottom of the market on a three-year term, with 10 devices included, which is more generous than most budget rivals.
The limits are structural. Sixty servers in 40 countries is a small footprint, so speeds depend heavily on how close you are to an exit. There is no obfuscation, multi-hop or port forwarding, and no third-party audit of the no-logs claim.
Streaming works on Netflix and BBC iPlayer with reasonable consistency, and there are Fire TV and router options for living-room use.
A fine budget or free-tier choice, particularly in Europe where the server placement suits. Not a substitute for an audited provider if privacy verification matters.
